Scott Farms South of the Border Biscuit Taco

One of our wonderful customers gave us this recipe. It  is a cross between an Indian Taco & Mexican Taco.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 package of refrigerator biscuit dough
  • 1 package of Scott Farms South of Border Seasoning
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of real mayo
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite shredded cheese mix
  • 1 & 1/2 cup of shredded lettuce
  • 2 roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 can of black beans drained ( optional)
  • 1 cup browned hamburger meat (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion

Directions:

Pat biscuit dough into 1/8 inch thin rounds. cut into small tortila size rounds & bake in a preheated oven according to directions on biscuit dough package. Mix South of Border Dip according to package directions, let sit for a few minutes.  Take hot biscuits out  of oven & let cool.  Put South of Border dip on each biscuit then top with all other ingredients.  This is one treat that everyone will love!!  There will be some dip left so serve remainder with your favorite chips.
